But that is not the point of Arena. We have Arena for testing new formations and ninjas against other players or improving your current formation. With this update, arena could lose it's meaning. To be honest I never had problem with fighting against someone in arena. You can find someone in less than 15 seconds.
That very much depends on which server your playing and what the time of the day is. I have had times where I sat in arena for 10-15 minutes without finding anyone. Most notable queue times are during the night or while events are happening like group instance/team instance etc.
Earlier servers (the first 10 or so) will probably also have more active people playing than later servers. Especially considering new servers get pushed out every few days so those servers will see a decrease in players joining the server while a lot of the playerbase who are just taking a look will decline within a few days/weeks. This is why I hope to see cross server content in the future to keep things competitive.
And the point of arena is testing formations, improving it and doing missions for arena currency, but lets be honest... if you have no opponent none of these will happen. For now the queue times are reasonable though as long as you do arena during peak times.
