Well... if you're gonna step up from Wind... go to Fire.
Why? Because of it's weakness if nothing else. Water is not as popular, so you have one less thing to worry about it.
Wind gets rekt by Fire. Lightning by Wind, which is far more popular.

Lightning is also... one trick pony, Hinata will annoy the hell out of you, unless you make subpar lightning. If you go for the strongest options... you'll pray to go God you don't encounter Hinata. On plus side... it might turn you into a believer lel.

Lght is 1st in single target dmg, but *s AoE wise (effect is good tho on AoE),
Wind is 1st AoE, *s with single target, has no effects,
Fire is 2nd in AoE and 2nd or 3rd single target, plus inginte and sleep are just wonderful.

It's going to be in September. Different mods have been saying it in different topics, we just don't know exact or approximate date either, just September.
