I think its more of they really didn't know what they were doing (fyi talking about players not Oasis) or they didn't like the event in cause it was ingot for extra spins. I remember most of the hate was that F2P players couldn't even get the 1st tier reward after all the free spins. Even if you could spend 100 coupons for the last 10. That or the rewards weren't worth it.
Update on my Pulls, did 30 more today and managed to get 15 frags of Guy and the last bit of Kakashi Anbu frags I needed as well as 2 more Shark Kisame frags.
That's what I'm thinking. Just because they added ninja frags (especially event ninjas), there seems to be more praise for the event. I mean look at the post above with rewards of full of purification protection. It is safe to say dude is salty rather than happy. I don't know about the value of free items gained from this event (I'm thinking minimum 1.5k coupons) but this event is good as long we receive items that the majority of playing see value in.

I don't think they are salty, probably more of surprised that a draw 10 lead to that many purification protection runes. Which is honestly great if you need to purify the equipment anyways. But over all yeah rewards are probably what made it worth it. I'm just glad there isn't a 80 frag ninja instead. Like Lucky Stars.
I don't know about that. Here is just one example today someone being salty about not getting any frags. There are lot of these players in comparison who actually cares about getting items.

You may be skeptical and that's fine just know with that particular screenshot it isn't the case :D
Hopefully you're probably right. Those type of players may have skewed my opinion of the group you mentioned since they tend to have they don't see the upside in all events or how to approach an event with a plan.
