I'm glad that the combos don't cross over (so up team doesn't combo with down); each of my teams is an individual unit and wouldn't combo anyway whereas other people split up Team 7 or whatever.

Also, you need to keep track of a lot more ninja. But it's fun and something to do once you're done with dailies.
