(Grumpy, sleepy, bashful, dopey... Doc...)
Moods only impact the "basic attributes" of a ninja - go to Ninja > Train > Mood and look for "important attributes".
Example using fire main: Life and ninjutsu. Thus, the mood "sad" doesn't influence my main since it increases defense and decreases attack. I would prefer the mood "fickle" because it increases ninjutsu (good) and decreases defense (irrelevant).
Use meat* (I'm pretty sure they're dango) to change mood and mood scrolls to strengthen the positive aspect of a mood; the negative (as far as I'm aware) stays at -5%.
Mood list so far - I'll update it if I remember to:
Mood Plus Minus
Calm none none
Angry Attack Defense
Vexed Attack Resistance
Sad Defense Attack
Anxious Resistance Defense
Fickle Ninjutsu Defense
Wrathful Attack Life
Worried Resistance Life
Thrilled Ninjutsu Attack
Happy Life Attack
Excited Ninjutsu Life
Frantic Ninjutsu Resistance
Downcast Defense Resistance
Delighted Life Defense
Irritable Attack Ninjutsu
Joyful Life Ninjutsu
Melancholy Resistance Ninjutsu
Grieved Defense Ninjutsu

Questions:
Does mood come into play in Ranked or Survival? Actually, where does it/does it not apply?
Any sort of "rare moods" with two boosts and no negatives?
Any way to get mood scrolls without buying them?
Am I correct with the "relevant attributes" thing?
Requests:
I missed some; which ones? Any that are wrong?
Someone please tell me the important attributes of the mains besides Scarlet Blaze!
