c'mon people, this event is already times better than the previous ones. They did change, they put more options more benefit in spending. You recharge -> chance of getting Kisame or KKS anbu--> buying Minato or Masked Man or Tobirama --> getting Hashirama on the way. Not mentioning the power boost stuff (which is not alot this week to be honest) but i feel like this week is for Ninja collecting people. Anyway it is already better. Do you really want all of the godly events in 1 week and then what? Eventwise i think this week is good enough. Still they owed us those features from 4.0. But give them another chance/time (again) to change. They are making progress with this week.
