I use Ninja War Kiba, Kakashi, Kabuto for the clones/combos. A lot of people say to use Anko - like, Anko/Tenten/fire main... and just use Anko's mystery once so the fire enhancement *s around.

Yes for fire mains using anko will increase your damage by a lot. Especially if you also own iruka since he also buffs your team and is of the fire element.

So Anko,Main, +2?

that's what I use at level 60 ,it's working pretty well

I switched to:

GNW Neji GNW Kiba Akamaru
Tenten x x
Fire main clone x

and that works well.

Why Neji? Kyuubi also takes extra damage from elemental attacks, so ideally, you want to run ninjas with elemental standard attacks and mysteries. However, free ninjas for fire are quite limited so I would run Anko, Tenten, Guy. The fire main is going to be the main damage dealer, so having these ninjas to buff him is the most efficient tactic IMO.
This is the lineup that I run with: Scarlet Blaze Guide. WB Asuma will be obtainable later on from the shop (according to the post about ninjas in the Chinese shop). Otherwise, he can be replaced with Tenten. Iruka can be replaced with Guy or Pain Shurado.

I am #1 usually 95% of the time using,

it's interesting seeing these lineups. I noticed when i was fire main, my team consisted of:
Main ****
Tenten **
Gnw Neji ***
Guy ***

I was able to reach 3rd place on my server with it, but i felt it needed more power. later on, i had switched to Wind Main, and i decided to try the empress build (my empress build is beefed immensely) and to my surprise, i didn't even reach the top 10 with it, even though my whole team was mostly 5* other than my main.
I recently acquired GNW Tenten 4*, so i was thinking i'd go back to my fire main team to test it out.
I don't remember the positions i used for it, but i do remember my talents were: 2,2,1,1,1 Summon: Chameleon or Hell King.

So how did it work out using TenTen, any improvements.

really good or you can swap asuma wb for gnw tenten

f2p c*e anko up front for increase in ninjutsu each attack
firemain buffing fire types, tenten for high combo attacks and mystery, and any ninjutsu type fire that you have

this way anko steadily increases in ninjutsu each turn...never use her mystery 2nd time...keeps the fire buff up as long as possible....
firemain using the high combo attack, fire dragon mystery, 10 combo chase
tenten using her combo chase and preferably a fire type like Karin with a 10 combo chase with ninjutsu and mystery with good hit count for combos
