kabuto sage mode is still not implemented in the game.
anyways i fully support your thesis.
ninjas like shisui, roshi or ay 3rd are not that important in the anime as they are here.
I mean kabuto sage mode is kind of implemented. I think snake cloak is the closest we're going to get to it.

kabuto snake cloak is like hashirama, is the basic version. we should get an acutal kabuto sage mode like we got hashirama sage mode.
Well I mean kabuto vanilla version is the basic one lol. But yes I agree with you they could go a step further and show him in full sage mode. I'm just also fairly certain that they feel kabuto snake cloak is close enough (since technically he is in sage mode at that point in the anime).
