I would disagree that he "doesn't fit in" the meta, there are plenty of control oriented teams where he is still highly effective. However, you are correct that so many people are running dodge or KCM immunity that his mystery seems useless.

His repulse standard still clobbers people, his chases still hurt, and he's still a super armor with debuff immunity. He isn't what he used to be because people have adapted to survive against him. You just can't blindly chaos turn 1 and expect that to win the match for you.
