  • Pls god dont, i want masked man in lucky wheel

Pls god no, stop the RNG events for powerful ninjas. What the fook are you gonna do when you are competing with someone, going neck to neck, * by *. And then they just pull a minato out of their asses with like a 100cp?

You're done. GG. better get something else to do now. Your weeks or months of effort and time just went down the drain.

Slightly offtopic, but:

When do we get something useful to spend survival coins on? There are literally no power options or useful ninja for survival coins.

Arena : Coins and Unbound Runes

Group: Med Refines and Summon Contracts

Ranked: Basic Refines, Stamina

Spacetime: Charms, Advanced Refines

Survival: ????

  • Come on OASIS, only half the events mentioned are actually out...

You should probably learn to read.

So apparently Oasis doesn't like us talking openly about the events? It's ok to flaunt your luck at a minato pull, but saying "Lol people gambling on this event", is bad.

The shinobi feast lashback was most certainly expected, and if it was not expected, Oasis needs to hire new people, who understand how humans think.

I know its probably not up to the moderators to decide what gets deleted and what is allowed, but could we please have an open discussion? Or can we atleast get a proper explanation on why all these threads are getting deleted and locked?

You keep referring to the event feedback section. I'm personally using that. But I also want to discuss the events. I would assume Oasis would also want to know the unmoderated opinion of the players, so they can understand them better, and in turn, make more money next time..?

  • I read it. And my conclusion is: It's complete and unnecessary idiocy to limit most of those events to less than one week.

What's the point of having Refine Rebate on Monday? So people can't Refine until this week's GNW is over? Does that even make a difference? And if that's the goal, then why is Refine Rebate allowed during the SpaceTime competition? Due to that logic, the time window of Refining has no consequential effect.

And it's not always as simple as learning how to read. Common example: In the middle of the week, the Monthly event rolls to the next week's "missions", right? Well it's quite common to have Summoning Rebate during the same week as the Monthly Event is on the 2x10 summoning week. But said Summoning Rebate starts a few days later, on Saturday usually. So now I'm reading both, and I have to keep in mind

Before you say that the above is not too hard, won't take too long, etc., etc:

The above type of "gameplay" is not the game I want to play. Refining, charms, sure, those aspects of the game are fine.

But to spend time looking at this date and that date and finding when dates overlap and this and that... How does that affect your enjoyment of the game? Does it make it better? Does it make no difference? Or does it make the game less enjoyable?

Or do you think it's good to have different date ranges because it adds an edge of competition? If that's the case, then are you saying that reading event posts very carefully is a good way of creating, good, fun competition? Is it a factor that is worth decreasing the impact of other factors? Very simplified example: 5 factors mean each factor has 20% impact on a fight, 4 factors mean each factor has 25% impact on a fight. Off the top of my head, the significant factors are: BP (in a way), lineup design, and strategy and tactics (I dunno if you want to see the latter as one factor or two). But when you add "reading the forums carefully" as another factor, then the aforementioned 4 factors have (very simplified) decreased their impact from 25% to 20%, because there are now 5 factors.

TLDR is careful reading of a weekly events list conducive to enjoyable gameplay and serious competition?

This was a very nice read tbh. I have actually wondered myself why they do this postponing of rebates. I would have assume they have some statistics that indicate that they will make more money this way. Another possible reason would be that it keeps players more engaged in the skinner box, when they get something novel at the end of the event cycle. Has to be one of the two.

Any edge you can bring to the competition is in my view a good thing. It's a strategy game and making choices on when is the best time to use those precious resources does make the gameplay interesting. The more factors in play, the deeper the skill required, and the more interesting the game. Of course deep pockets trumps this rule, but that's life. It's also noteworthy that not all the factors play an equal role in the equation of the outcome. BP plays the largest role to a certain extent. Then Lineup, then tactics..., well you know how it goes.

Being knowledgeable and having impulse control and long range vision is a pretty big part of strategy. So I don't mind the postponed rebates even though I'm personally frustrated by this too, because it means impatient players run over me for seemingly unnecessary extra days.

But I wouldn't consider it a major issue. It's not a big hassle to double check the dates, and see what events they will release based on the monthly pattern when you're sitting on the toilet.

Again no new stuff and events, again boring week.

Not necessarily true. They might have already implemented a bunch of changes on the previous maintenances. It's just that they have a release schedule. We'll see in a few hours.
