Nah, censor in game works in mysterious and sometimes ridiculous ways, but things like this would not get ******
But try some harmless combination of words that combined create something "nasty" and voila! You can't even say "but it's like this".

Yeah lol. I have a friend in my group named Hana and we have to be careful not to say Hana and have the next word start with the letter L lmao. Main reason I hate things like "But it's" being censored is cause we have limited trumpets and I never feel like using another one just to clarify what was starred out.

Censor work on a word by word basis.
The word "yourself" certainly shouldn't be censored
As for "kill"... this is a combat game, it's a very useful word for telling your team mate what to go after etc so that word itself also need to be allowed.
Anything beyond word level would make the system much more complex, either compilation of all questionable phrase or an AI doing lexicographical *ysis.
So in the end, this is unlikely to change. Because things don't work "by magic".
