He is made of wet cardboard, and can be sniped very easily by offensive teams of comparable power. As long as you have something to interupt the non-prompt jig mystery afterwards, you'll win.

If the deidara user has a good chunk more power than you, then there is nothing you can do. (short of using kyuubi.. which is very inaccessible).
