if you are gonna make a chat filter make it based on words not based on letters.
if you wanna finish a simple sentence (example ending with About it ''tit''. It's kinda *ed cuz it affects alot of simple sentences.

You need to make it based on actual swear words, I use words like "C*e" together and it gets censored!! Its really annoying to be censored when you are not even swearing!! :@

That was intentionally the Plan, to have the Filter censor specific words and not letters. But sadly something went wrong when it got implemented, now it doesn't work quite right but our Tech team is doing it's best to fix it and bring up a solution that pleases the Community ^^~

why does "*" and "*" even have censorship? those are normal words..they might have a bad meaning in some point, but their definition is not bad..

Just give us the option to toggle it on and off Its an insult to all of us players were not kids to be forced into this kind of rule and not all of us are oversensitive about some words.

İ am playing the game at server S6 Gaara nearly a month and i never see anyone say bad or cursed words to each other. so why you need to use this? its really annoying and really dont work at all. Please take it back to normal. Thanks

Why we need to use this? Because People complained about that there is no filter and people could just curse like they want. I'm sorry but i highly doubt that you never saw someone cursing, because there are always People cursing.

We will not take it back to normal, but it will be worked on it so that it works like it was supposed to be. Don't think that it will stay like it is now, there are some Problems that have to be fixed and then it's gonna work much better ^^~

tbh thats not the case. filtering out by words is easier than filtering by letters. any programmer knows that. so filtering by letters seem to be the tech team's inital plan instead.

or they just didnt understand what was communicated to them :P

Please just have a toggle for it. Kids curse more than adults anyway.

Either take it down to fix it or turn it off until it's fixed, either way REMOVE IT!

I did the same thing earlier, and I'm pretty talkative so I really wanted to say everything on my mind... Please, developers! Toggle!

The problem is these filters simply do not work.

Right now I see two issues, the first is obvious.


This test filter is not taking into consideration exclusivity or spacing in titular sentences...

words like that followed by it become tit for this language filter... meaning it sees a bad word... well, not a 'bad' word, but a word that the majority of society find inappropriate.

Ahem... The second problem with this filter is, it simply will not prevent bad people from being bad people.

If I wanted to say, you are a horrible person, you simply are worthless and not really good enough to play this game...

... did I use a single bad word? is worthless a bad word? No... but my intent was clear, I was making a person, the target of my verbal attack feel low... and I did it without using a single inappropriate word.

Filters only hurt players, they do not help anything, at all.

The community on this game, at least, the server I am on, is pretty tame and civil, I can understand how other servers might get more trolls or such, but the only true answer to that is increased Moderator interaction

If the number of servers was reduced by a little, or merged with others, then Mods could be around more often to see any misbehavior or receive reports quicker.

Well, I do hope the filter is fixed, so it can recognize 'SPACING' at least, as that quirk is quite unfortunate and interferes with a lot of normal sentences....

its fine but i think it should have a Feature to Turn it off because theres a high amount of players that dont really care about language

The thing is, it was planned to censor specific Words by implenting the Filter on to the Servers a problem happened. The problem is that space between a few words don't register, that means for example "it space it" would be "tit" and gets censored.

I really hate your censor system. You cannot even say "SNAKE" when referring to the WHITE SNAKE SUMMONS.
