Well I found your first problem, The reason people cut through your sailor sakura so easily is because it is mooded into Ninjutsu. Its better to make her tanky by giving her +Life - Attack. You get less heals however she is harder to kill.

As a general tip, if a ninja is dying too much give it +Life. Of course this only works for healers/tanks.
