1＃ Go Took, so what gives with roshi? Does he come with high initiative already or something? i face someone who has roshi in exact same spot as one of my ninja... Roshi goes first , even if my ninja has higher intiative.. is this just me being paranoid or does anyone else see this?

Depends on the setting. If it's in a regular battle/SWB/arena, individual initiative is followed. Group initiative for auto barriers, and higher group ini = later auto barrier cast.
If it's matsuri/survival, group initiative and ninja placement (like who you put into the lineup first, apart from the positions) are considered. -
