anko for sure (increases your damage with her mystery skill)
choji (he is a fire ninja)
tenten (make her to 2 stars quick as she follows up 10 hits and increases your teams crit rate) or 2* shikamaru (if you have more than 40 chakra you'll increase your hit count)

important skills:
fire formation
phoenix jutsu (sorry i forgot the name but thats the one that your main character will attack after 10 hits)

I run: Anko + Tenten + Iruka. (I'm level 65+)

Is this good?

I ran this same line up until I got Wind Blade Asuma, was #1 on the server before someone got 1st Hokage, now I'm #2. Using Anko's ability AFTER everyone has attacked is the key to increasing your damage Round 3.

Not everyone has iruka wind blade asuma and First Hokage.

My basic team as well: WB Asuma, Hashirama, Iruka, Fire Main( Dragon Flame Mystery, Phoenix Chase, Red Lotus Buff) + Chameleon Summon. Generally top 5 with this but my first few attempts I forgot to change my chase so It wasn't being used since there is now HF/LF/ETC ETC. But generally doing 1.15-1.5% DMG.

Rounding it all up to at end of kyuubi doing about 13% total dps to kyuubi

I run with GNW Kankuro Karin and GNW Kiba built for 10 combo

Your % may be lower due to the fact you have more players doing near/equal/ or more Dmg than you. Resulting in an overall less % than I'm doing. Also I feel 90% of the people don't have a good team combination + using wrong talent set; since chasers don't work always best to use combo triggers and anything that is fire/wind for +dmg.

I missed iruka during the initial days. Didn't realise he can be so useful for fire main on nine tail...so

Anyway, here's my team: Fire main, Anko, Guy, Tenten and my current level is 72
I tried using choji by replacing guy, but even if he is fire, the overall dmg was a bit lower. So, currently *ing with the above team.
Note: You should always pay 30k gold for increased buff, its totally worth it. I'm mostly a f2p player, so didn't buy jonin medal. But I'm paying that 30 coupon for increased stats, since I can place top 15 and get 25 coupon as reward anyway. Increased dmg gives incresed exp and gold, so its worth it.

Main Skill: 2-2-1-3-1 with tonton summon(he has a bonus against world boss).
Position: MC- X - Anko
Guy- X - X
Tenten - X - X
Using skills in order here is important to do more dmg. Here's how I use them:
Round 1: Anko barrier
Round 2: Main's dragon flame jutsu
Round 3: Guy's mystry. wait for your main to finish his standard attack and then use anko's mystry.
Round 4: Use Anko's mystry first. then Use your main and tenten's mystry.

This way you always make sure to deal dmg on a barrier. The reason to put anko there, cause she gets ninjutsu buff everytime she's attacked. and your clone is protected this way, that deals some dmg too.

Iruka can be used here to replace guy very easily. He's a fire type, gives attack/ninjtsu buff and has 10-hit combo - everything you want for nine tail.

Skills:
1) Dragon flame jutsu. This is more useful.
2) Next select that enhancement of fire style since it gives 40% ninjutsu/attakc buff for fire ninja's in your party. Anko and iruka are both fire type.
3) you need a summon that can do 10-hit combo, so tonton or chamelion. Tonton is prefered since he has a bonus against nine tail.
4) When you reach level 55, use clone skill, since it can do some extra dmg.

Also dont forget about position and order of skills. Dont auto this fight. Use the position and skill activation order mentioned in above post to maximize your dmg. Always pay 30k gold coins ahead, its totally worth it.

I'm a level 65 and right now I rank top 30 with Tenten, GNW Kiba, Kakashi, fire main, and my Tenten wasn't even caught up cultivation-wise last time. I've been wanting to replace Kakashi with someone with stronger clones (right now Akamaru outlasts him, haha) but Zabuza didn't work (no offense with mist).

Why tonton for nine tails instead of chamaleon?... sorry I don't understand.
