why is seemingly the only counter to this team tend to involve the masked man

Um not really Masked man is pretty good here but against cancer you can't rely on him only Masked man will be good for round 1 in next round Gaara and and Naruto

1 shots whole team

To be honest, Masked man makes it really easy to beat the han, roshi, ss, af. hold mm mystery until round 2, use it on one of the healers, then try to blitz down the other with a chase to immobilize both of them. Bonus if you can interrupt the healing mystery and put it on cool down but I haven't needed to do that yet.

Orochimaru looks kinda creepy in his snake shed form thingy.

Other then that, it sounds like a solid team!

The new Akatsuki Orochimaru is super cool though, perfect for transformation.

Roshi-Yagura-Naruto and Fire Main(Illusion-Fire Dance-Celestrial Prison-Ninjutsu Urge-Oboro Clone;King of Hell) I am using this team no one winning me xD no no one xD just with this team Itachi[Susano'o], Masked Man and Onoki won me :/ also 7 winning streak -_- broke

Roshi- Utakata- Yagura and Fire Main[ Illusion-Fire Dance-Burning Ash-Ninjutsu Urge-Death Mirrage(If opponent use Oboro Clone also i am copying with Yagura Fire Main)- King of Hell]

When i join arena with this team in round 1 they leaving :D I WANT FIGHT!

Your team only can counter roshi team at arena.when you have 90k+ bp you cant kill roshi with that team

i don't have 90k+ bp but still can beat roshi teams :D

You didn't event a new wheel.Masked Man IS a meta counter right now,if you are low power and want to dominate at Sage world you need to have him,because its ez to bp 15k BP difference LM meta team with him.Beating healing is too ez with him too even with again that much BP difference if you have another ninja whos mystery deals *tt ton of damage.

I have one question, MM is more fast in position 2 than LM in 1?

If the enemy are using A(fourth) and LM, on who I should use MM?
