I'm going to stop after this since we've gone off topic. I've said nothing about using coupons just to get a frag. The major point of my argument is that if players wanted that to piece him there were several chances for you to get pieces freely. If you decide to go for an item or something else instead of the ninja, that's fine but you have to recognize that you used the free chances for other things beside the ninja you want to piece and missed the opportunity. If you still want to disagree with me, then I'll won't reason with your mindset anymore.

actually Danzo is correct here, I didn't even try to get the free frags that were offered and I still have about 15-20 of each masked man and minato jonin. there was an event a couple of weeks back where you could claim 14-20 jounin frags I think it was the mobilization event plus masked man has been in 2-3 lucky board events so far and it was really easy to get him even for f2p just by saving coupons for each of the lucky board event he was in. I would have gotten at-least one of them 1 month back but I got lucky with kage minato and got him for 1500 coupons, plus jonin minato is in Home base now too and if you upgrade is level you can get 20 or so fragments of him for free! just like that, my group leader told me that one.

Just to add in, as a f2p player, I've gotten a good amount of ninjas from luck-based events.

May-100 puppets Sasori, in a single mission box (I wanted more Chikamatsu frags, okay?)

June-Tendo Pain, in a set of 55, 40 of which I got for free and I saved up throughout the week.

August-Tobirama Senju, in a set of 10 which I decided to buy (as in, use coupons) because why not.

September-Lucky Stars wheel got me my Kage Minato.

One more thing is that i think your estimation is based off of using some coupons.

Like I said several times, that number is a guess based on how many times I was able to get him freely from July to October plus an estimate amount he showed up in November with an error of about 5 frags since of course I didn't have to record how much I could have gotten him. No coupons....

Got masked man about 1-2 months ago. Ever since his release Ive obtained roughly 50 frags without any coupon investment. Then bought the rest in lucky board. After that, he was available in mobilisation event once again (11 free possible frags) and in some event with keys (about 5-6 free frags). Im not even counting any other events to make it easier. By that time, i could piece all his 80 frags without a single cp spent. Same with dpb hidan- ever since March ive collected 35 frags, but i chose those frags over power items in about 25% events, so i could get him for free as well by now if I only constantly redeemed those frags instead of other rewards.

Guys, since you prioritize other free rewards (like refines in fate encounter or charms in mission dealer) over premium ninja frags, dont complain that is is impossible to get ninja as FTP. It is possible, it just takes 4+ months on average. Since you are speaking about "hard life of ftp" you should know by now, that you need to make those decisions early if you want to get something. Complaining wont help you, you cant both have a cake and eat a cake. It's high time you understood it.
