hover on your name (top right hand beside messages) click settings

under profile click personal information then look for personal signature

every user group has a different limit (or character that they can input or how big the image will be i think?)

You can add the image if you do it right but you also will need to increase your signature cap...Thats really it

What do you mean by signature cap, the lenght you can write ? Use an URL shortener for that.
Also if you mean the img doesn't fit, just set an amount for X and Y size to reduce it so the image is not cut in half.
And the signature lenght at Elite Genin (unlocks tag) is 300 characters so it will do.
