The thing is, if there is a mission, then there might be a need for a practice mode. Because like ranked arena, DB have a rank thing which affect the reward you get. And it could get bad if player are forced to choose between mission reward or better reward from the rank. I'm sure that would get salty real fast.

As far as using not real stat but lv 100 goes, it would probably surprise you how little difference that would make. Because initiative is a very dominating force, especially if it's 2v2 and one side have BOTH of the high init, which is the more likely case than "sandwiching" init order. Tbh, the only significant difference this would make is probably let newer and thus lower powered ptw player w/ rare ninja beat out long time and thus higher powered ftp through the quality of ninja despite potentially lower init. For anything else, i doubt it would impact the outcome of the match.

That said, it would make getting the kill rewards easier, because if both side are even, even if one side have the significant advantage of better ninja/init, chances are the other side can at least take down one or two ninja before losing. Ergo even the loser will usually make some progress as far as the killing reward is concerned. So I guess that's a mild positive.
