The bonus reward is an additional 10 candies on top of the 10 you get from lighting the last lantern. Therefore if you correctly light all 5 lanterns, you should end up with 60 candies for the day, 10*5 for the 5 lanterns plus the 10 bonus. If you didn't end with 60, then you have a problem.
