people that got 50 candies and are sure to have done no mistakes (like happened to me) just tried to use items to lit the lantern when the moon was white before the first refresh.

Wouldn't be a problem if only was written somewhere that if the moon is white and you use the lantern then you become a pumpkin and you don't get any bonus reward even if you succesful lit 5 lanterns after it...
