Yeah, when you rapidly click it that way for unequipping, for some reason the game fuses them....

And you can't even complain about it because the mods will blame you for not locking them....

Look on the bright side thou, it's only gold not red. And in the long run, gold are actually pretty darn common. I've had extra gold (i.e. 5th and onward) of every type come up by now, and I'm still working on getting my red from 9 to 10.
