Not a problem as much as it is fundamentals. Any control cc aside from Itachi Susanoo's should be used in a similar fashion. If you want the CC to carry into the next round, you should use it after the standard attack of the ninja you intend to use it on. Most people aren't aware of it though. More of a trial and error thing.
