Seal scroll cost 125, but in reality almost nobody ever buys it like that, only ones who do are the super ptw.
The cave key, however, is a very nice power boost. And the ratio of key to coupon here is only second to wishing tree, which only gives a limited amount. I'd say you should buy it if you have any rune that is lv 5 or below still. If they are all 6+ thou, diminishing return is hitting hard and it's no longer worthwhile to buy keys at all, just keep harvesting the trees.

On average, it takes about 20 keys to get runes which sum up to a lv 5 rune. (granted, it would be different types, but think of it this way, 100 keys will get you runes of each type which sum up to one of each, and random lv 5 rune times 5 is same, one of each, on average. Ergo, each 20 key is about equal to a lv 5 rune)
Ergo, the fruit is worth around 110 keys, for 800 coupon. This have a ratio of about 7 coupon per key
On the other hand, 17:3 have a ratio of 5.67 coupon per key
So if you are buying the fruit, you are doing it wrong.
