Hi! From my understanding, how "Poison Tai" works for water main is that it gets applied regardless of if the "Taijutsu damage" attack hits or not. It specifically states, "Ninjas from your lineup which attack using Taijutsu damage will cause at the same time Poisoning." I believe there is no criteria besides the need for the attack to be Taijutsu, regardless if you dodge or not.
