So I'm pretty new to the game and I wonder if it matters which levels I awaken ninjas?

Hi! It doesn't matter when you awaken ninjas, you will not lose anything for awakening them early or late. You will receive the exact same battle power regardless of when you decide you want to awaken =p So do not worry!
