Pretty much this, it cant stand up to regular Gaara meta teams due to the lack of interrupt. Which is why you need a backup team to deal with that stuff, an SN/Iruka/Guy team geared towards Poison and Chaos tends to work pretty well if you focus Gakido and interrupt the Barrier & Wind Reset, at that point SN becomes the only real threat, taking a Rasenshuriken is usually fine.

In that scenario, with Guy's leech then my SN heals himself for like 60% of his max HP by using Rasenshuriken, pretty nifty. Depending on who gets chaosed by Poison Fog in the first round can end that fight right then and there basically.
