Regular Gaara's damage is pretty broken right now, he c*most one hit kill Kage teams by himself if he is allowed to set his barrier up, it's pretty bad.

I've had plenty of success with Poison Tai teams using SN, Iruka & Guy as well (Also a good counter to Gaara teams when my Mei team cant deal with them)

You also have enough characters for like 2 or 3 Lightning "meta" teams that are generally pretty effective against most things, it just comes down to power & initiative.
