Just buy tenten gnw as soon as her fragment are available and go for tenten gnw, mei, mabui, azure fang.
Maybe the world could use...originality...?
Anyways, Mei works best with Fire and Water main, not really a lightning main ninja, often paired up with Tenten and Mabui for a blitz team, but waaay to many people use that team, I'd suggest using ninja who make good combos, and work well with her, I've seen her used with wind main, sage naruto, and Iruka. But she's never really on lightning teams

Water-Darui-Hinata-Sage Naruto.
But then again, Mei can fill in for Darui, it worked well for me.
but 1/2 the part of me not recommending it is because I'm salty, I don't have Mei ;c
But yeah, just go for a team you like Kenshin
