It was shortly after Tobi came back from the rain village, with the Rinnegan in hand. Kabuto looked over his shoulder as he saw Tobi walking by. "Well, you've been busy" he said, Tobi then replied "Busy indeed." He then was about to leave when Kabuto spoke "Say...whatever happened to Konan?" He asked "Dead." Tobi replied. "Well...maybe I could reanimate her, along with our friend Kisame." "Why?" Tobi asked, already aware of the numerous amount of Shinobi reincarnated. "Well, it'd add extra power to our forces." Kabuto replied, what could Tobi expect? "Hmm...I don't entirely trust your Reanimation, Kabuto." he replied, looking at Kabuto. "Well, these two can be used for a perfect example!" Kabuto replied, "I can go grab some of Kisame's DNA while maybe you could get some of Konan's, you did kill her, after all." He said, as Tobi then agreed "Very well." And left back for the Rain to pick up the metal bar.

Later, after Kabuto and the reanimated Deidara attacked the island Naruto was on, Kabuto made sure to pick up some of the grass stained with Kisame's blood, and eventually met up with Tobi again. "Well, did you get it?" Tobi pulled out a large, metal pole, stained with blood. "Will this do?" Kabuto replied, "It'll be enough, now we only need two Sacrifices" Tobi then pulled out Torune and Fu "There, now perform the ritual..."

This is a re-imagining of the part where Kabuto shows Tobi how he does Edo Tensei, with instead of Torune being reanimated (He could be a ninja in this game one day), it's Konan and Kisame, and they're later deployed in the war...and not in filler, like Torune.
