It was After Sasuke finally returned to the village and before Naruto even thought about marrying Hinata.

Naruto POV:

Today Sasuke told me to meet up with him before I go meet up with Hinata. Hinata confessed her feelings to me but I didn't answer. I didn't know if I really liked her and I didn't want to lead her on, but she insisted that we meet today. Of course I'm going to meet Sasuke since he is my best friend. I'm glad he came back to the village to be honest and after that war that led to many deaths, I'm glad Team 7 is still here. As I put on my normal orange jumpsuit and headband along with my shoes and gear I jumped out my window onto the roofs of other building rushing to meet Sasuke in the forest like he said. I wonder why he wants to meet me. As I picture Sasuke's face I feel my cheeks heat up. Ah! What's wrong with me? I finally reached to entrance to the forest. I looked around to see that Sasuke was nowhere to be seen. Is he inside the forest? I started walking slowly into the forest.

"Sasuke? Are you here?" I call out a little annoyed that he was late to his own meeting. Then I here some shuffling behind me. I turn to where the sound is coming from and is met with a pair of onyx eyes. I stared at Sasuke's body to see that his air was damp along with his clothes and skin. It looks like he was running, but god did he look hot. I didn't realize I was staring long until a smirk formed on his face.

"Like what you see dobe?" He said walking toward me slowly. I felt my face heat up.

"You wish teme! Now what did you call me out here for I have to meet Hinata in like 45 minutes." I told him avoiding eye contact with him.

"Well too bad for her because you're not going. I have to confess something to you Naru~" Sasuke stopped when his face was a few inches from mine. My breath hitched. What is it he wants to tell me? Wait... what does he mean I'm not going to meet Hinata?

"What are you talking about Sasuke?" I asked annoyingly. I jumped up against the tree that was behind me as he slammed both hands on either side of my head and leaned in even closer. I felt his warm breath on my ear.

"I love you Naruto. So from this day on you belong to me. Any objections?" I s* my head back and forth. He smirked again and I looked at his lips. They looked soft and warm, I wanted nothing more but for them to be pressed against mines. As if reading my mind, Sasuke brought one of his hands to my chin lifting it up so my eyes were level with his. I held my breath as he leaned in slowly pressing his lips against mines. My heartbeat sped up and I could head blood rushing in my ears. He licked my bottom lip and I opened my mouth letting his tongue slip in. We kissed for what seemed like forever. Then I remembered. Hinata! I pushed Sasuke away and I thought I saw a hurt look on his face before he covered it up with a blank stare. I...loved him, and that's what I was going to tell Hinata when I met her.

"I have to go talk to Hinata. I have to give her her answer." I said. Sasuke still just stared not showing any emotion.

"And what's your answer?" He asked. I walked toward him and pulled him in a kiss without any resistance from him.

"That I love someone else." The corner of my mouth twitched as I saw his eyes widen in surprise.

"I love you so much dobe." Sasuke said happily and I saw something I doubt anyone else would see. He smiled a true and genuine smile, eyes full of love.

"I love you to teme." I replied laying my head on his chest as he wrapped his arms around me.
