Kakashi looked at Zabuza, lying on his own pool of blood, holding Haku's feminine face. The Kiri-nin looked at Kakashi and spoke with a ragged voice.

"Kakashi. I want you, to take my weapon, the Kubikiribōchō. I deem you, worthy enough to wield it." Kakashi walked up to Zabuza and knelt besides him. The man gave a shark-like grin and started to lose the life in his eyes. "You gained my respect, Kakashi. Go forth, and become a great swordsman." Kakashi placed his hand over Zabuza's eyes and closed them, the demon finally gaining rest.

The village erupted in a loud cheer, finally being freed from their oppressor's tyranny. The Genins looked sad, seeing a man die with honor.

Later that day

Kakashi and Naruto placed down the two slabs of rock, which faced two burials. Naruto took a look at the broken hunter-nin mask and placed it on Haku's grave. Team 7 bowed their head, praying for the departed.

Kakashi rose his head and looked at his Genin. "Well, time to head back to Konoha."

The Genins said nothing, as they started walking out of the village. Inari looked at his grandfather and asked.

"Oi, ji-chan! What are we gonna call the bridge?!"

Tazuna rubbed his chin, before snapping his fingers. "I got it! The Whirlpool Blade Bridge! In honor of the person who helped us be free from tyranny!"

Pretty soon, everyone liked the idea and started engraving the name onto a slab of stone.

Time Skip: Meeting Orochimaru

Kakashi glared at Orochimaru, his Sharingan visible. Orochimaru poked out his tongue and chuckled.

"My my. Do you really think you can beat me, Kakashi?"

The Hatake smirked behind his mask and grabbed a scroll. He unfurled it, showing the kanji of executioner on it. The scroll erupted in smoke, making Orochimaru raise his eyebrow in curiosity.

"Of course I can! I have new toys to play with you!"

The smoke was *n away and revealed Kakashi brandishing the Kubikiribōchō, making Orochimaru gape in shock. "H-how is it possible that you have one of Kiri's swords?"

Kakashi's eyes narrowed, his Sharingan spinning into the Mangekyo. "As if I would tell someone like you."

Orochimaru took a step back. "H-he has the Mangekyo?!"

To the Sennin's shock, Kakashi appeared behind him and swung the blade, slicing Orochimaru in half. The remains of the snake turned brown and crumbled into mud.

"Tch. Mud clone. Figures."

Instead of placing the blade back into a scroll, Kakashi threw it into the air and closed his right eye.

"Kamui!"

A swirl appeared out of nowhere and engulfed the blade, disappearing. Kakashi lowered his forehead protector, covering back the Sharingan.

"I better report this to Lord Hokage."
