I would recommend about 70k to see a sizable difference.

Clothing only affects main character, so there are many other better ways to spend your coupons.

Ramen is correct as at 70k power, you have more or less done all you could with your coupons in terms of refinement and charms etc.Therefore the next best thing would be clothing.

What? Clothing doesn't apply at all only to main character, is exactly like battle armor and applies to all the 4 ninjas. Is only the change in appearance that applies to main only.

The stats you get from clothing applies to all the ninjas in your lineup =]

How do I know this?

Because battle armor gives init. And I know that my ranked team have the same total init by the fact that the order the barrier goes depend on team position and not always with the team with my main going last.

Ergo, they must apply to all teams.

The barrier goes with total initiative so the fact initiative applies or not also to the other two teams doesn't matter. For team 2 and 3 it simply uses the same initiative as team one like it does for arena, but not the other stats. Take a look at the damage/healing your team 2 and 3 lands and you'll see is nowhere close the damage/healing your main team lands.

Aside from when you get higher levels of power (the 50,000~70,000 range), you need to do a lot of calculations to ensure you are getting the best price for clothing. It would be ideal to wait for the Konoha Gift Shop and Treasure of the Sage events, which usually have Wild West and Ceremonial Kimono fragments on sale for about 50 coupons, compared to the current 75 in the normal shop (they used to be 100 coupons). Trust me, math and financing will be your best friends when it comes to buying clothing or anything in this game.

1. The init of team 2 and 3 is NOT the same as 1. They use average init per member, whereas you can adjust the equipment for team 1 to have them have different init, so no, they do not have same init. They have same TOTAL init.

2. Attacks and healing are affected by buffs and they are horrible for A/B testing, but here is a STABLE number that can be observed: HP

On my 2nd team, my ninjas have following hp:

gaara: 16171

mabui: 14499

kurenai: 15255

gnw tenten 14024

When placed on my main team, the 3 that I can fit have following stats:

gaara: 16445 (+272)

mabui: 14404 (-95)

kurenai: 15157 (-98)

This is about right since my helms are otherwise the same (all lv 6 magatama, maxed level/upgrade) but garra's helm, on main team, have 1 extra charm level.

If battle armor doesn't apply, this would not have been the case. My battle armor provides +1265 hp

And I'm too lazy to calculate how much hp all my tools have, Probably 2-3k

So we can know for a fact that +hp of battle armor and tool, and therefore clothing since you bundled those together, does apply to all teams.

So what now? are you going to claim that it's only nin and tai that's not shared?
