You reminded me of my own situation. It's different, but still slightly similar.

Before the newest patch, Sword of Totsuka was the most powerful blade available. So naturally, I forged most of my best elements into it.

Then the nerf hammer came and smashed my Sword of Totsuka to bits. No choice left but to forge it into my Shichiseiken to salvage just one attack stat.
