I'm a completely new player that is overwhelmed at the amount of servers there are. I thought World of Warcraft had a lot.. my gawd this game has so many!

I know the newer servers have events for playing on them but I'm more about long-term stability. Would server 1 (I happen to live in NY as well haha) be the best bet for me or another one?

  • Generally what you want to do especially as a new player is pick the newest server in your region so you can learn the game. Sooner or later your server will die so you can start fresh on a even newer one with your new knowledge or you can stay on the same one

Hmm, I'd rather start out on a server thats active and has a solid player base. I've played MMOs for a long time, I know this whole new server strat thing they do. The issue here is the first set of servers are 1-150.. so no idea whats an active comm on any of them e.e
