Yep, best way is to make" YOLO dmg buff team", because you will die from tailed beast bomb anyway. Basically you need main char with his element buff+barrier ninja of your element+Guy/Iruka/other buff+someone with good dmg and elements like your main.

I have quite a succes with

Earth with bonus auto attack mystery and earth element buff (Guy is lightning so i always buff main, Lee and Yamato). That setup Lee each rund beside 1st will attack 4 times (main mystery or lee mystery alternately), i have non stop earth barier and Yamato doing bonus dmg to summons and 9tails. I'm around 12-15 rank in power on my serwer but on 9tails i'm usually 3/4 with thais team (nice team for group summon capture thanks to Guy life steal)
