You may not like it but Unfortunately, it won't change.

Characters base prices can and will differ throughout different events. There aren't set prices as everything can be inflated or completely reduced. It's a roll of a dice on each event.

My advise would simply to record the prices of each ninja and combat impulse buying. That way you may see which event holds the greatest value.
