Should be a bug since all other version is still 6 BF.

in semi we had no opponent and had 6 battlefield, in finals we had only 3

had the same problem but first round we had 6 fields and in the 2nd round and final round we had 3 fields

Quick update from developers. It is new update to GNW, it's not a bug. The amount of battlefields are related to the amount of participants.

Can you provide a bit more detail on that?

First, assuming that the game cannot predict the future, I'm guessing it uses the number of participant in the previous round? So if this happens in the finals, then that means the participant count in the semi-final was low? If this is the case, does this only work within a specific GNW or does it work toward the future. For example, if the participant count is low in the final of the current war, would there be 3 fields only in the first round of the next round? Or perhaps the first round of qualifier? Does the thing share behavior between qualifier and final? That is to say if the 2nd round of qualifier sees low participants, does that mean first round of final would be only 3 fields? Or does this only apply to the non-first round of final?

It is supposed to be based on "past 3 weeks", but that seems to contradicts reports made here, specifically post #14 and #15. Thou I guess in theory, it can be said that since this is a new feature, past data was not collected, and since it was the first war since the maintenance where this was added, it only looked at the one single round. And it was using the average of past 3 weeks where every other entry was null, and thus the average changed from null to whatever # in the first round, resulting in what we saw here. So can we have some consistency as well as exactness?

Second, by which group is it determined? Since each war have two groups and they SHOULD* fight in equal footing, so the 3 field thing would happen to both. So is it based on the higher participant group? The lower one? the average? I mean would this happen if one group have 5 while the other have 15? 20? 30?

And Lastly, just how low does it have to be? This is, of course, related to #2. But is it when it's 15 or less on the higher/lower/average? or maybe 10? Some of the screenshots I see show as many as 15. Thou due to #1, it is possible that the bar is lower and that in the previous round, which might be easier/less important, fewer people showed and thus fell below the bar even if the bar is less than 15. Or maybe it's based on average/less of the two.

There is a claim here: https://forum-narutoen.oasgames.com/page/show-post-23188-1.html that said that they have 3 while opponent 6. However, the screenshot below does not support this, as the enemy did not get any free pts(0 pts). It is still possible that the opponent had 6, but whatever they deployed in lower field ended up being useless. Hopefully this is just the guy not knowing what he is talking about.

PS: I really hate it when people spawn new threads about the same topic when the previous ones aren't locked. It was quite difficult composing a proper post when there are multiple thread I need to source from.

i dont get why this was never told to us or why it even happens so a group of 3+ highest bp big whales could make a group and win war it removes strategy and is a downhrade like almost all of the 3.0 we have gotten all because the things that benifit us are left out

What the hell u bring update without giving any info about it?! We lost GNW by group we never lost before because we didnt know what is going on because your mistake and that mean we get less seal scrolls from packs because you. You dont even admit mistake and say sorry with giving us info 2 days later pretending it was nothing
