Some patches ago, ninja tools was 'fixed' and gold-class extra stats become available mostly at TI 43k in the Red Gourd. Therefore, if people wants those gold stats on their ninja tools, they'd have to reforge the tools. However, it's difficult to tell which is the best stats because sometimes the red tools could feature more than one gold stats, which means players have to choose the best stats to add into their ninja tools. So this thread was made to record the highest gold stats that drop from the gourd after nerfing, at least untill we get Kage TI, so that we could have an easier time picking which stats to keep when reforging ninja tools. If you guys find any stats that are higher than these, comment and I'll add them here. I'll try to update the thread as often as possible.

So 30s are pretty common, but higher than that would be rare, with the highest I got being a 45.
Wow, i didn't realize there was such a large nerf to the stats of the tools. I knew you got less orange stats post patch, but those numbers are almost half of what you used to get off the red gourd pre-patch. My highest attack stat is 84, with the rest in the 60s and 70s.
Before the stat nerfs, there were 3 tiers of gold stats. I'll just use attack as the example.
Highest tier rolls up to 80, available only on red gourds.
Middle tier rolls up to 70, available on any tool found in BF TI. Medium and hard BF has a much higher chance to roll stats from this tier.
Low tier rolls up to 50, available on any gold tool. All gold tools obtained from any TI must roll stats from at least this tier.
----
After the nerf, only the lowest tier of gold stats has a CHANCE to show up on red gourds. (with the +4 res ones being missing altogether). All other gold tools can no longer roll gold stats.
Hi guys, the more pertinent question is whether we should get every resistance reforged into our ninja tools.
I saw a video of a guy afew weeks back and that is what he did.
I can see why he did it because this is the only way to get resist whereas power can be got from magatamas and runes.
So what are your views on this?

When was the video published? ^^
If we could still get gold elemental resistance, then I say go for them. Best case scenario it could nullify your elemental penalty and help you survive a bit longer against elemental attack. Anything lower than gold (+3 purple and +2 blue) is not worth it. You'd have better chance going for actual resistance stats.
+4 are definitely worth using, I'd say fire, water, lightning, wind in that order of importance. Earth isn't really worth using because there is no commonly used ninja that does lots of earth damage.
+2 on the other hand... it's kinda meh.
Cough... Roshi... cough...
Cough... Roshi... cough...
For one, he is fire&earth hybrid, so fire, being #1 in the list, would already help.
For another, he actually doesn't hit all that hard, at least not if you don't boost him with attacks. It's usually the ignition and, in case of water immortal, poison that kills you. Those aren't reduced by resistance.
Its sad though, I only have 3 old ninja tools with the +4 resistance.
I'm not crazy enough to reforge away my level 17 old ninja tool just for that +4 resistance.. the exp lost is probably not worth it.
I thought that Oasis was going to put up tool essence for sale.. what happened to that idea?

Well, eventually all your tool will be 20, then you can raise another one as an exp bank so whatever new tool you get can instantly max level, then you wont have to worry about losing exp.
That said, that's going to be a REALLY long process, maybe a year or so... but it will happen eventually.
At the same time, the amount of exp required beyond lv 18 is HUGE. The amount of exp fo 18 to 20 is enough for 1 to 18. Given that, if you forgo the last 2 lvs, you can make a transfer much earlier.
