1＃ Go ToSo I achieved Rank Kage before the Arena season for the month of May ended however when I checked my rewards I did not receive the Kage reward instead I received the lowest reward possible being Ninja School Student. Here's some screenshots:

You can only get rewards for lower brackets after you reach 6 paths. Pretty dumb but yeah :/
I don't believe it was always like that, you used to get the rewards for the rank you are in. I've gotten past rewards for the rank I was in before.

It was always like that the moment arena rank rewards was introduced.
Simply put, if you haven't reached Six Paths just once, then you will always get the ninja school student rewards regardless of your arena rank. It'll only change the moment you reached Six Paths.
