You don't think Anxious would be better? Losing 5% off of our lowest stat (defense) doesn't seem as bad as losing 5% attack, which a number of Wind's abilities will suffer from.
Being that Wind isn't really a front-liner with all the clone abilities, doesn't seem as bad as a trade off. -

- I have +nin -def on Wind Main and I love it. Since Wind Main doesn't have a lot of defense to begin with, -5% amounts to about -100 defense for me, where as -5% HP amounts to -200 HP for me.
Also, losing HP is worse for two reasons. Not only does HP scale very high, so losing 5% of it is a big hit, but losing HP is worse as it's the buffer for nin and tai attacks. Whereas losing defense only hurts you when getting hit by Tai. (which you should be avoiding, anyways)
Not trying to be captain obvious here, just pretty much reiterating. -
