  • Me and my mates are all head over heels for tendo in spite the fact that he tends to underperform against all the current meta teams that doesn't stop us from constantly building different teams around him and spamming him everywhere. In all seriousness if you grind and build solely to boost his performance he can be a monster carry even in 3.0 but I don't think he can be used effectively with anything other than Blitz main. If you're looking for tips on how to use Tendo effectively in the meta I'm down to help

Alright u can help what does he do and what is he good for?Couse with fire main jounin minato he seems to work pretty well with combos :P

  • Resilliance already answered your question. Tendo does a lot of damage for the entire team because of his AOE mystery. However, if you plan on using on your regular main team, you might see unfavourable results because he lacks defense. Like what Resilliance said already, the only time you'll see a tendo team is in GNW, ranked battle or in a team of 3. People tend to use him with lightning main because of standard attack "calm mind" which allows him to get 20 chakra points. Also, it requires 80 chakra points to launch him. That being said, you have to make a lineup only around him to be effective.

However, if you don't care about it and just want to have a team with tendo and jonin minato then try this:

    Untitled

    Skills: 4,3,2,2,1 Summon: Shark

Thanks danzo this really helped me,Anyway is this the only team that is with pain tendo jounin minato and fire main?If you dont have time or something dont bother :D

  • If you plan on competing with Tendo in any pvp format except gnk the team you're using will work only if you're the better geared player in the fight, otherwise Tendo will be useless and you're likely to lose the fight. Unfortunately Tendo doesn't offer as much as he used to, he gets easily outclassed by the meta characters who are naturally stronger and more well rounded as a whole, but he's also one of the few ninjas in the entire game that allows for a selected target chase chain round 1 so if you utilize that he can be just as destructive as he used to be. When they supposedly "nerfed" him they actually said "hey if you want to be effective with this ninja you gotta make use of his round 1 power spike or you're doomed post round 1" what that means is that you can't afford not to skill in round 1 if you plan on getting any results with him. I know jonin Minato c*so skill first round but that depends on whether your combo rate is high enough to reset his battlefield cd which scales with each chase but it's still not a certain round 1 mystery like Tendo's (same goes for him if you get interrupted). I've listed some strategies on how to outplay slot 1/2 interrupts without gakido when playing Tendo/blitz main in an older post so you can just search that up if you're interested. As for a working Tendo team, you can throw him in with Gakido he is essential for gnw because gaki's shield gives you the freedom of not worrying about your Tendo being shut down mid cast, but the gaki combination is also very limiting in a 1v1 scenario damage wise because in that case your main is stuck with being a 34 talents "chakra dummy" for Tendo instead of doing damage which is what blitz does best, he's not a healer like Water and he doesn't provide utility like Fire or Wind so you need your lighting main to be out there dishing out as much damage as possible which supports a Tendo team way better in the long run. What I'm trying to point out is that every Tendo user that decides to cripple their main's ability to deal damage just so they can ult with Tendo will always be at a huge disadvantage in a 1v1 scenario, so instead of doing that you run something like Mabui, Tendo, Bee 7 and aim all your resources at your opponents strongest ninja with the goal being to either kill him with the chase chain from Tendo's ult or drop him low enough for your main's 1st skill which is used as an execute to finish the job. I don't want to make this any longer so if you want to know more about different tendo tactics you can just search through the forum.

As a new tendo player you can start off by running the following team with Rhino as your summon and 13132 talents.

    --

    Tendo - Main - Mabui

    x - x - x

    Bee 7 - x - x

    --

1st round you Bee your Mabui for a total of 100 chakra then you Tendo ult and finish off with your 1st skill

2nd round mabui ult yada yada that's it. If you haven't killed anyone by that point you can safely asume that the tendo one trick life is not for you

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that this works only when your main and Tendo are both mooded asf I mean nothing less than 61%

Alrighty then thanks for your effort then lets forget tendo pain xD.Any team for jounin minato and fire main?Would itachi be a good late game ninja (not susanoo)

ANd for the combo simulator thingy i dont under stand a thing and dont know how to use it thats why i dont do that.

  • Forgot to mention that there are translations for the ninjas and their skills: https://docs.google.com/do*ent/d/1vtTQck-DtuaRm6smqFhJ8ZjLqO7Mvd6Kr0QlNKXusRg/edit

I figured you would be able to figure how to use the simulator but no... So first, you use translator on your internet browser. See that blue down *on on the webpage? Click that and click the choices to change the character mains. Beside that is the talents of the mains and beside that is the summons. Just drag the ninjas you want on your team on to the 3x3 grid. Is this easy to follow? It's better for you to learn how to make up teams than asking for help since sometimes you get lineups you aren't happy with but if you make lineups for yourself and understand what is needed for a lineup then you'll be happy.

Alrighty thanks.is it true that combo doesent really matter that much ? Is 8 in off?And is CC really needed, and is itachi uchiha good late game?.Sorry for too many questions im a newbie.

  • I figured you were new to the game when you only care about a high combo. Yes there are other factors that make a strong team besides a high combo. Depending on the team, on average, the combo is 5-9. Being able to control your opponents team via chaos, ignition, poison, acupuncture, immobile and all the other status from skills allows you to limit the movement of your opponent., so yes. But some players will have a team called a "blitz team" that focuses on dealing high damage with buffs from ninja skills so they can finish asap.

You'll most likely stop using itachi when you hit level 70 as you gain access to the kage treasure and you'll most likely change your team. A little advice, go on youtube and watch gameplay so you'll understand the different types of teams out there.

Would this be a good team or should i replace sage mode naruto and mei with someone else?
