That doesn't make sense to me. That means the only people who will be getting rewards are the ones who have the six paths sennin rank. If that's true, then no one will receive rewards for any of the other ranks.

You need to have reached six paths at least once before getting anything other than student rewards for a season. After you've attained six paths in any season you'll get rewards for whatever rank you achieve in subsequent seasons. And you're right, it doesn't make sense and is rather dumb since getting to six paths is nigh on impossible for 90% of the player base.

Well, they have "reasons" in that not resetting rank make it easier to get to six path in the coming season (eventually).

But it doesn't work in practice because your actual ranking pts, which is what matters, is not set to reflect your rank, which makes it pretty moot as people could have very low pts, or even negative pts regardless of whatever rank they might be in, so it's entirely useless.

I mean it could work for an extreme minority of player who actually manage a net gain of rank pt every season (but not enough to get to six path in one or few season). But... like I said, extreme minority.

I make easy for you, or you get six path before cross server arena, or pay a LOT. If not able to do one of those thing you can't reach six path and get reward for your rank. Alway remember "they make cross server for us" or if you prefer read the correct version "they want more free player to sacrifice against top p(l)ayer"

As mentioned by other players, you need to achieve Six Paths' Sage rank first.

After you have done that, each month your rank will be reset to 0 points, and you will receive rewards based on the rank you finished at.

Before you reach 6 Paths, your rank doesn't reset, and you receive the lowest rank rewards.
