From I noticed, one-click talk only works with ninjas that have a certain bond level (I think its 5) since the new ninjas didn't get auto talked.

To OP, it's a bit to early to get all the answers for the new ninjas. Each gifts gives more points depending on the certain ninja. For example, the Icha Icha book that Jiraiya made will give 0 points to females while some guys (the ones you think are pervs) get scores.
