Both Kidomaru and Kimimaro (3*) are good tanks. The most common one (and for good reason - heck I'm using her myself at level 67) is Hinata (2*+). Neji is kind of unreliable so I would advice caution when using him, he relies heavily on stopping enemy mysteries to be effective. And finally stacking clones to tank for you in the form of Naruto 3*, level 55 passive clone or reviving ninja such as Enma and Tobi tend to be okay.

I must disagree with all ya'll nooblords calling my Hinata bae useless past turn 1. Hinata is a bloody monster.

As we don't have Ninja War Neji or Ninja War Hinata available just now and GOD FORBID Tendo becomes common, please do give me a source of accupuncture in your combo other than my Hinata Bae. Neji doesn't waste you a turn and is fast at interupting? Hinata has no cooldown on her interupt, it costs her no chakra and she becomes near invincible below 30% HP Due to her passive.

I'm running iruka and hinata on the same team and I would * well like to see ya'll and your Nejies live for longer than a two turns before the game goes into a 3v4.

Hinata stops all guaranteed combo starter Clones from 55 passives. In fact her only main weakness during turn 1 is GNW Kankuro - who by the way Obliterates neji due to how * squishy he is.

Neji's taunt only lasts 1 turn - hinata can choose when to activate her taunt, and it can completely ruin an Armor Lightning's day, in fact it's so effective it pretty much completely shuts their main down.

My main rival on S3 at the moment is Celestial - His team is Shurado, Tobi, Tendo, Wind. He's 2.5k power above me, and we've got about even odds of winning. My team being Fire, Tobi, Iruka, Hinata - the game doesnt come down to who kills tendo or who kills hinata first - because we both know they're bloody immortal and take multiple turns to kill - no, the matches are usually decided by who's Tobi gets interupted and who's Tobi dodges (mine shurado, his iruka). Tendo and Hinata often being the last to survive.
Properly utilising the Accupuncture is where hinata shines and neji is completely outclassed. Not to mention hinata has 2 chases and better attack scaling which pretty much means she does more damage than neji outside of his Mystery skill.

PS: The only reason I'm not going to be getting a 5* Hinata is because of just how much better GNW Hinata is. Hinata is love, Hinata is life.

  • It was said Neji is for damage teams, because of how short the matches are and how he fills the role of interrupter. Your team doesn't sound like a team intended to kill two ninja before round 2 is over.

Neji works wonders in high combo damage buff squads where squeezing in both a Hinata and an Iruka costs you too much to call it a damage team.

You're severely underestimating the single target damage potential of Tobi alone in a blaze team. Like I said hinata contributes tons of damage and Iruka goes in with a gauranteed Crit.

In fact I can safely one shot kill a target below 5.5k HP on turn 2 AND interupt someone with Iruka at the same time.

And since it's relevant - 16.5k Power, Level 67.

  • So it takes your full combo to kill someone with low health. My damage teams kill that person with standard attacks.

Heck, my main alone is often responsible for killing two ninjas in a single turn by himself. That's what stacking damage Kyuubi-style can do and you don't have room for a tank and interrupter while doing it. Neji shines as he fills both roles while having very positive Attack attributes.

Excuse me but... how exactly is a 5.5k HP low, we're not talking NPC HP, we're talking full level 4-5 Magitamas level 7 group skills, 4* ninja with All kage scrolled gear 5.5k HP.

Your main alone kills 2 ninjas? Are there only people 5k power below you on your server? LOL'D

Everything you said in that comment is full of air - hot air at that.

EDIT: Just to make sure I just checked the top player on S1 who's sitting at 22k Power right now. His 5* Kakashi has 5.5k HP. His 4* Iruka has 6.3k HP.
I'm not sure if we're playing on the same vesrion of the game here...
EDIT2: I just inspected you... Silly goose at 2k defence it wouldnt take anyone besides my Tobi and his Mystery to kill off anyone on your team... not to mention the average defence of 2.2k (other than your Guy at 3k).

  • It's low. This is what I have to deal with every day.

Your paltry 22k power doesn't even begin to compare.

Damage teams or you aren't winning survival. I've scaled my main to the point that he deals 1700 dmg on his attacks and attacks four times with Lightning Armor, more if he kills someone and since he self-combos... two dead ninja solo.

It's nice that you feel high and mighty about your flavor-of-the-month Fire main. We have those too on our servers fighting for 2nd place beneath the Wind main overlords. Neither require much effort or skill to tap into yet defeat them I do on a daily basis, often without losing any ninja. Tobi teams meet my Kurenai/Hinata combo and it shuts off the threats.
Oh no ... A gaara... What will you ever do to stop his every turn slap... not to mention how savegely chunked he gets to Ignition.

And if anything it was Midnights that were FOTM when the server opened. And it so happens that the strongest person on our server is water.

As we c*l clearly see from the background - this is just ONE PERSON above 17k power... "This is what i have to deal with on a daily basis" - No, it is not. In fact your 2nd place would barely rank 7th or 8th on S3 (understandable since it's younger).

Oh and you're not beating this guy, don't play games about. Just by looking at those stats I c*ready call level 6 magis across the board or higher.

  • Can you elaborate on how much better Great Ninja War Hinata is? What's the difference between the two?
GNW Hinata has a few major differences which Imma list just now:

Her standard attack causes Repulse instead of Knockdown - starting the combo from her Acupuncture chase.

Her mystery skill, in addition to what the regular version does, also allows her to attack 3 times that turn.

Finally, instead of gaining defense and resistance as her life depletes - she revives once per battle (tobi style) with 60% HP.

  • about hinata skill n the first turn ..., every single turn pain-shurado always activates first and uses interuption on her n ignition causing her to die from my combos ....
    and
i personally dont use a tank
but if i do its my lightning clone
... but i have pain-shurado up from becaue of his skill n combos
    2nd is tendo then main
    and in back
    is
    100 puppets chiyo
Allow me to elaborate - your Shurado is your frontline? And you use his mystery to stop my hinata from tanking basic attacks on turn 1? Does your shurado ever survive turn 2 (ever?)?

  • :o I'm like surprised that the GNW Hinata is way better than the regular one, when do we get her? Probably not until years down the line XD I assume? I'm going to assume that it would be pointless to farm Hinata from 4 stars to 5 stars then?
I myself decided to stop at 4*s - as 5*s is a lot of ranked points and stamina commitment (more than the total to get her to 4*s in fact). About when we get her - we've already got GNW Neji in the game so I would assume with the next big ninja addition to the roster.
