Agreed pretty disappointed , tho still gotta see the prices for anniversary event

just to play devils advocate a bit here, but they added new forum events as well, http://forum.naruto.oasgames.com/en/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=21999&extra=page%3D1, so f2p do have a bit more than just the couple things directly in game.

one of those forum events has a chance for people to win 1k coupons, another has a chance at 300 coupons, they also mention another event will be on the forums tomorrow, so f2p go check those out and who knows they might add more events as well.

Soooo.... y'all missed the bit where a p2p can donate coupons to players? So if you make nice with your p2p groupies who are recharging they can spread the love to f2p people who could use a power boost!

Agreed I was expecting much more for being with a game for a year..... I mean even so couldn't servers that are older get better rewards

As I said to Jib in another thread, those events are limited rewarded. Not every player will get rewarded through them. If they had a solid lineup of events in game for F2P, then those events would be fine just them trying to increase community involvement. But relying on those to be your major rewards is just bs

People just never learns , never expect something good from oasis. Deal with events...

Actually it's does make it special and most games give lots to f2p during this time and it wont see another 1 year anymore at least after this

I know you have good intentions but why should f2p players need to depend on the goodwill of p2w players for this anniversary event to gain rewards?

This absolutely does not count as it is limited to the few people that are active on the forums and the cosplay part is targeted at a very small minority of the playerbase, the rewards aren't guaranteed to everyone, plus it is a forum only event which will be missed by quite a lot of people.

From my server alone i know that there are 2 out of like the odd 30 or so people left that are playing the game who use the forum and they certainly won't be bothering to put in the effort to cosplay for a chance of 1k coupons.

Well, I'm not defending and I'm not taking sides if that's what you're trying to say. I'm only saying that this game is not the worst I've ever played in that department (And I'm a F2P by the way, I only spend dimes on Console games for DLCs) so I'm pretty used to this "P2W business".

Also, that retoric question there. Hmm.. Can't feel it, as much as I would like to, this game won't reach the top nor get out of the pit it's falling down, unless some things change. The word here that many F2Ps in my group transmit is "Patience". Let's see what the future brings (if there's any)

He's not saying that they should but it is the only option at the moment to get a good gift for this fail anniversary. However, this only works when the p2w of a guild is in great player (i.e. not a *) and willing to help out his guildmates. By just looking at some of the posts on this forum, the number of guilds like this is small.

Hahahah silly troll lol but f2p and p2p both contribute and if thing we're done your way there would be no hate the game needs f2p and p2w to work so screwing over f2p that have been playing for almost a year.... Not good idea for the game

So after reading all the posts it's not hard at all to see why f2p players feel angry, disappointed, and/or frustrated. I mean take your pick of emotion there but when you dropped these events for the anniversary it only took one look to feel like Oasis cares about one type of player.

Now I'm a moderate spender so for me some of these events are good, but that's not really the point at all. An anniversary should be a happy time for all the players that enjoy this game we play together, instead we got a series of events so lopsided that it only reinforced the divisions we have in game. Now I'm going to be as polite as possible here, but after a year where we dealt with some pretty frustrating community issues, behind the scenes drama, and quite a few poor events (especially around holidays), it's just baffling to see this outcome again.

It may be obvious by what I wrote, but it's sad to say that I expected to be disappointed today so I'm not even upset. I just feel bad for the people that were hoping to celebrate this anniversary with events that were inclusive of all types of players.
