Same thing as last time. You can hit max. The reality is that through my small sample of refining equipment up to 5 on and off of this event (average, not counting my level 8s), there's actually no difference in chance to refine up and the "bonus" is just visual. It encourages spending. There is not enough data to confirm this but my anecdote works for me and thus I do not stress about refining during this period. Many others have maxed refines such as you and still not refined up. That alone shows that it is purely a visual thing that has nothing to do with the mechanic.

Definitely feels like during the event my refinement chance is improved though (or I'm just incredibly lucky during the event). I was getting refinements with 2-5 low refines, 5-10 medium refines, and the best luck of all I refined from level 7 to 8 with just TWO advanced refines.

I know, thanks! I was so in shock that my hand still kept clicking and I ended up using an extra 5 towards level 9 refinement, so in the end I just decided to use everything towards it (over 150 and nothing :L). I'm already quite happy though.

Grats man. I'm pretty sure i threw 20 advanced scrolls at it so far. Hasn't budged yet. :/

If I myself isn't mistaken I think most people mistake blessing points to some kind of refinement exp.

I actually got pretty lucky and got my first level 7 to 8 refine with only about 50/300 or so. It definitely isn't rigged just your standard luck based formula. 8 to 9 however has taken me my entire life savings of Sage World rewards and I'm now at 415/500. The luck was definitely give and take there lol.
