1＃ Go ToSo..I don't know if someone has touched on this subject before, but I feel like convoy also needs unlimited refreshes as plunder does. Seeing as plunder is not only less of a risk, but you also get to pick on who you attack - may it be weak or strong. As far as convoy goes the risks are simply too high, and the drop rate of a SS mission appearing seems mildly low. Convoy has no chance of knowing just who'll attack, and those who have waited half the day for that sweet SS mission are only to be plundered by someone 2x as strong as them.
I know some of these issues can be bypassed by simply asking for stronger support or something else some of you have thought of. However not everyone has a strong member to support them from other stronger people. Seeing as Convoy is the only safest way for you to earn daily coupons, why make it the most difficult?

I currently don't have an issue with running my SS missions without trouble. My issue is even having an SS mission to begin with. I've gone 2 days thus far of waiting, watching, hope - for an SS to pop up.
After countless refreshes and everything nothing appears. It seems silly at this point. -

lol what i get SS missions at a 50% rating when i looking for them, some times they're already there when i go to do convoy.
You must be unlucky, Or maybe they lower the SS mission spawn rate the high your level?
Currently i'm lvl 79 on the server i'm on. My other account which is 90 has a higher drop rate of SS missions. -

Let's get real here.
SS missions aren't even rare, you have a 3hr time frame with 2 free refreshes. That's assuming you do not have time to play in the afternoon or evening.
During this this 3hr period, i reckon you can get at least 3-4 SS missions on average.
If u just spammed the 2 free refreshes, i'm pretty sure you would get 1 SS mission.
I think you just want free refreshes so that you can pick the convoy with the highest coins no?
And it is a joke that you are bringing in free refreshes for plunder which is real time so obviously it should be spammable. Or better yet, change the interface for plunderer so that SS mission will just appear and you can click plunder, no need for refresh. ;P
This is about convoy, not plunder. SS missions are based on RNG, and I've checked in every 3 hours, along with saved my 2 free refreshes to still yet to come up with an SS mission for 2 days straight.
My suggestion is just that, a suggestion. Perhaps the refresh time could be limited away from unlimited,
but I do feel that it needs a higher refresh time.
And as I said before, this was about coupons, not coins. Read above to know what I spoke about that includes the risks of convoy in contrast with plunder. -

It's a matter of statistic.
Let's say that there is a 50% chance that a SS shows up on the list, probably an overestimate but whatever.
Most of the time, you'd be right, the chance of getting a SS with what you have + 2 refresh (3 sets) is 87.5%, which is pretty good. And if you wait a hour for 2 more refresh, that's 96.9%, almost guaranteed. And yet another hour will give you 99.2%
But if you see the trend, you will notice the problem, while it is approaching 100%, it will never reach it. For someone who only do convoy during one time slot, for example, the maximal number of sets he will see is 9, and that will give a good 99.8%. But that means that once every year and half, they will be without SS. That's just one person. On average, in a group of say 10 players, this time would be shortened to about 2 month. In a server of 50? About a week.
And remember, 50% is likely an overestimate. And tbh, most player don't stare at convoy enough to get the full 7 out of a time slot (+2 free refresh for the 9). So chances are, every week, 1 out of 10 convoy player or so end up not having SS.
When I noticed this trend happen I spoke to the people on my server if they've ever experienced it. Some have, some haven't. The thing is it's a thing, not everyone is lucky and I understand that. However it still leaves weaker people who rely on convoy for coupons to get gimped by higher players. Perhaps they could increase the drop rate of SS missions. -

Hey there,
Before I tackle the question in hand, I'd like to voice an opinion here, which I'd say, convoy is much safer than plunder to do. For the sake of an example, let's * to SS convoy/plunder.
While convoying, you get at least 15 coupons for sure, if you manage to complete it without problem then 30. You are able to ask for a support of stronger player, and have guaranteed rewards, plus no consequences of doing convoy.
On the other hand, while doing plunder, there is a high chance of getting 0 coupons instead of 150, for the following reasons: You need to find SS convoy to plunder, which is not always so easy, and each convoy may be protected by someone stronger than you (unless you are top of the server).
Plunder takes much more time, high risk of getting nothing at all, and on top of that, after you complete plunder, you are at risk of losing coins due to red name. Of course there are ways to go around that, but it's still an inconvenience. Just a tiny touch to fini* off, you get 4 convoys, and 3 plunders. That means, there is always a way to go unplundered, if you find a right time to do so ^^
Personally, being in top 5 of server power ranking, I find plunder to be a waste of time and too much of a risk to go with.
That being said, I apologize for this rant-ish part of my answer, what concerns a drop rate of SS missions, I agree it may sometimes be lower, but at the same time, the time frame for it is not small.
Personally I often skip SS convoy because of lack of time, and just go with coins, which are almost never getting plundered, and much easier to get.
I appreciate the suggestion to increase the droprate of SS missions though, thanks for that ^^
Oh right, I did forget to mention the benefits of convoy. Being so bothered about it's risks made some of my earlier comments very narrow. On the topic of it though, I guess even 15 coupons is still coupons.
I used to plunder SS missions for a while, but stopped after the server started to die, and people started doing them less.
Thing is for this whole plunder/convoy system, the idea of one player gimping another seems discouraging.
I understand the theme and area of it without tossing it to the wayside. That being said maybe the event as a whole could be fixed beyond the convoy timer and drop rate being fiddled with.
I know for a while now plunder has been a very polite way to harass another player or outright bully then,
the whole 'stealing from another player' thing brings toxicity to some of the community. Please god no i'm not speaking for everyone when I said that.
I know the thing about convoy/plunder is supposed to add to the competitive aspect, and I enjoy that.
Though I feel something could be changed. I also don't mind your 'rant' on the issue. -

I could try to do so, although I have no easy access to such data.
The best I could achieve is to ask for such information for groups on my server, but that would be a really narrow picture. I can't promise I will do it, because it depends on how successful my "datamining" would be, although the opinion I stated was from my own perspective.
It's true that many people do get higher income from plundering, but at the same time, they need to devote much more time to it. The perspective I've shown was my own experience of plunder being a really unpleasant activity to do, besides the "toxicity", that's basically nonexistant on my server.
So, to sum up, if I decide to do such an investigation, it will be a very limited information source, because my merger is not very big, we have only a few people that actually plunder, and a rather non-toxic environment that surrounds convoy/plunder overall, at least from my own experience.
Well, with all this said. I do feel like something could definitely be done about convoy/plunder as a whole. Simply needs more time and ideas on the matter. -

Thing is, that's just my personal opinion, but 1.0 convoy/plunder system was really good in my opinion.
I don't mind the current one at all, although doing convoy in pairs, as well as being able to do both convoy and plunder was really nice :)
That being said, if there are any suggestions for this situation, please let me know, I will forward them.
I can see that even if both systems are "not bad" in my eyes, it may be different for other players, so any feedback here is appreciated.
I feel the first one was better, having 2 on 2 matches if you were to get plundered. However it demanded you needed a partner, which was possibly why it was changed. I agree though, both system have their good value, and at the same time bad values too. This is from my point of view of course. I'd love to have other people make suggestions to this. -
