I see what you did there, but you still can't win an argument bro because i was just joking and stoking flames :)

However, if the group leader does actual work and deserves the pack then i do not see an issue with him getting extra rewards weekly.

The context of this argument is being in a small group as i recognize this behavior will be very selfish if there were other members on pack rotation.

  • TLDR on all but the first post, but I fully agree. The pack reward system is just *ed. There are never enough packs for the number of players EVER. This kills groups all the * time and needs to change.
I think this brother has got the whole issue summed up in 3 lines.

I 100% agree that the GNW reward system is the core issue of why groups and then servers die.

It is human nature to be greedy, nobody will settle for not getting a pack and some players wouldn't even settle with not having a guaranteed Hero pack (8 seals) every week.

As a result, groups become smaller over time and only the strongest group will win GNW. The other groups just become plunder fodder and then die off (I will not delve into the issues of plunder here to stay on topic). Consequently, the server gets so dead that remaining players cry out for a merger.

So really OASIS, first step to fixing this game is make a change to GNW reward system.
